Install Office 365 on up to 5 Devices with one License

Office 365 Pro Plus includes the Office desktop applications. With one license, With the one license you can install a fully functioning version of office on 4 more devices.


Being able to install and use Office on up to 5 PCs at the same time is one benefit of having an Office 365 subscription with Office 365 Pro Plus.

For example, a user could have Office installed on the following computers:
  • Your Office laptop
  • A tablet or Chrome Book
  • A home computer
  • A child’s computer
Even though Office is installed on four different computers, only one Office 365 license is used, the license that has been assigned to you.


This works for employees of company that has office 365 ProPlus
To see if you have a installs available login to the portal (See screen shot below)   




 Download Office and install Office for Windows
  1. Sign in to Office 365, at http://portal.office.com/OLS/MySoftware.aspx.

  1. On the Office page, select a Language, and then choose Install to install the 32-bit version. 





Note To install the 64-bit version, choose 64-bit in the Version section before you choose Install. If you're uncertain, try the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Office for more information.


Things to remember
If you are an employee of a company and install a copy of Office 365 on a hone computer, Your Microsoft License will be disabled if you were to leave the company and any Office installations you might have on an extra computer (home or child’s) will end up in reduced functionality mode.  At that point, the install will begin prompting for a valid license code. 
Individuals can un-install Office or if you can extend your subscription by purchasing a license through Microsoft. 
If the new license is not obtained within 60 days, the product changes to read-only mode
