Windows hidden “Battery Report” feature



Windows has added a hidden “Battery Report” feature to Windows 8 and Windows 10 Laptops

You can Generate a report to see health information about your battery, how its capacity has decreased over time, and other interesting statistics.

First, open a Command Prompt window. Right-click in the bottom-left corner of your screen or press Windows Key + X, and then click the Command Prompt option in the list.







In the Command Prompt window that appears, type the following command powercfg /batteryreport and press Enter:






The command will save a battery report to your Windows directory.



To view the report, head to the following directory C:/Windows/battery-report.html double-click the file to open it.



Note: Report might be saved in C:/Windows/System32/battery-report.html
just follow the path that appears in the Command prompt window
